On a clear day you can see the whole countryside of Spiš to the east, with views to the south and the west all the way to the Low Tatra Mountains. You will be enchanted by the overpowering sense of closeness of the massive High Tatras. Also the unique character of the interior design contributes to a more pleasurable experience. In winter our antique “kachel oven” generates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, whilst in summer you can enjoy the privacy of our garden terrace. The surrounding countryside offers rich possibilities for cultural and historical sightseeing trips and sporting activities in the Tatra valleys and fells. The tram provides a simple transportation solution. It operates between Tatranské Lomnica and Štrbské Pleso which stops directly behind the Guest-house. It is only 10 minutes walk from the pension to the middle of Starý Smokovec, one of the main tourist centers of the High Tatras. From there you can take the new cable car to Hrebienok, which is a starting point for hiking and mountain biking in the summer, and skiing in the winter.
